Intended use tipstim® glove

The tipstim® device belongs to class IIa of medical devices. It is intended for sensory electrical stimulation of fingertips and for regulating muscle tone in the treatment of spasticity in the upper limb.


The tipstim® device is used to treat patients suffering from partial sensorimotor (sensory-motor) paresis (hemiparesis – hemiparesis, monoparesis – paresis of one limb) occurring after a stroke or craniocerebral trauma, as well as for the treatment of CRPS (Complex Pain Syndrome) Regional Type I).


  • Hypersensitivity to electrical stimulation
  • Cognitive impairment
  • Severe polyneuropathy or peripheral nerve damage around an inoperative limb
  • Metal implants in areas to be treated
  • Pacemaker
  • Medical implants
  • People with heart damage
  • Epilepsy or its increased risk
  • Amputee hand or deformed fingers
